The Kamelenmelkerij Smits (Holland) is the only farm legally authorised in the Netherlands to breed camels for the production of camel’s milk. All camels in the farm are continuously tested to ascertain that they are free of diseases such as para tbc, tuberculoses, etc.
The camel’s milk in the farm is raw, that is nothing is added and nothing is taken away from it. Soon after it is milked, the camel’s milk is immediately deep-frozen in special tunnel – freezer. Research carried out by the Dutch Institute of Diary Research (NIZO) proves that no harm is done to the good ingredients of camel’s milk during the freezing process and that it does not lose its healthy ingredients when it remains frozen.
Our camel milk originates from dromedaries i.e. from single humped camels. The milk is packed in bottles of 500ml and kept frozen. Once thawed, it can be kept for 3-5 days days in the refrigerator.
The benefits of camel milk are well known in the Middle East and Africa, but not so much awareness is currently present in the West.
Camel milk doesn’t contain beta-lactoglobulin, the protein that plays a role in cow’s milk allergy. Besides camel milk contains several specific proteins, that plays an important role in the defence against bacteria and viruses.

I have been buying this raw camel milk for some time now for my child who is Autistic and has asthma after reading up that camel milk helps with these conditions and the Hadith also states it has shifa and الحمد لله i can say i have seen signs of improvement, my child is more calmer and settled and with his asthma every year in winter he would end up admitted into hospital and given nebulisers
الحمد لله his asthma is now under control as i am regularly giving him camel milk.
